Market news: Flight Centre came out of trading halt yesterday after raising $180m from insto's to fund its purchase of a UK-based luxury travel operator.

Its shares closed at $17.11, which compares to the equity issue price of $14.60. That makes for a tidy 17% return for the new investors in just 48hrs.
